Scott Weiland’s ex-wife Mary Weiland has filed a request to become the executor of the late rocker’s will.

A month after the former Stone Temple Pilots frontman was found dead on his tour bus, Ms. Weiland, who divorced the singer in 2007, is asking to be named the executor of his will.

According to documents obtained by editors at TMZ, Ms. Weiland recently filed papers in a Los Angeles court making the request, and included a copy of his will, written and signed by Weiland in April 2007, seven months before they separated and subsequently divorced.
