Rapper The Game is helping to raise money for a police officer in Arkansas, days after showing his support for cops in Los Angeles during a peace march.

The “Dreams” star helped organize the rally on Friday when he was joined on the streets by fellow rapper Snoop Dogg to protest the deaths of African-Africans Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, who were killed by police in separate incidents in Louisiana and Minnesota last week.

The peace march became a huge news item following the deaths of five cops, who were shot and killed by a sniper at a Black Live Matter protest in Dallas, Texas on Thursday.

The hip hop stars hit the streets in a bid to help repair the relationship between police officers and African-Americans in the city, and now The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, has revealed he and his son are helping a “good” police officer in Arkansas, Tommy Norman, raise funds to continue acts of charity in his community.

“This is what a good cop looks like,” the rapper wrote on Instagram. “Before you judge, look at his page & (sic) what he is doing to make his daily interactions with our youth more positive & (and) effective in the community he polices… @tnorman23 is someone to FOLLOW!!!”

The 36-year-old explains his son set up a GoFundMe page and he has raised more than half of their goal in a matter of days.

“If you didn’t tune in yesterday: I had conversations with my oldest son @hvrlemtaylor about good cops (sic) & bad ones & he did his research & found officer @tnorman23’s page & i was touched by how active he is in the black community where he polices,” Taylor added. “My son said, how does he help all of these kids & stuff, is he rich??? I said I don’t know if he’s rich but sometimes it doesn’t take much to help those in need son… Being that my son is on vacation with his mother visiting relatives in Atlanta, Arkansas & Louisiana he wanted to do something for officer @tnorman23 in Little Rock so he delevoped (sic) a #GoFundMe to try & raise $50,000 & in 1 day were well over 1/2 way there…”

Taylor has made a donation and is also asking his fans to help.

“Not only am I proud of my son for taking initiative, I’m thankful that I’ve raised him with such a pure heart regardless of the negativities (sic) he’s seen me over come…,” he continued.

“It takes a village to raise a child & this good cop is going the extra mile for a lot of young African American children…”
