Sir Paul McCartney, Beck, and Taylor Hawkins were refused entry to a Grammy Awards after-party.

The Beatles icon and his rocker pals tried to head to an exclusive post-Grammy Awards bash hosted by the rapper Tyga at Los Angeles nightclub Argyle after Monday night’s ceremony, where they were denied at the door.

However, when McCartney attempted to gain entry to the party venue, door staff were unmoved and rejected his pleas to be allowed inside.

Video footage obtained by TMZ shows the legendary singer joking that he, Beck, and Foo Fighters drummer Hawkins might not be famous enough to attend the party, saying, “How VIP do we gotta get?”

Turning around to share a laugh with his companions about their predicament, Sir Paul then joked, “We need another hit.”

The trio of music icons left disappointed after failing to reason with club security staff.  Instead, they attended a party held by Republic Records.
