Meryl Streep will be saluted with the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 2017 Golden Globes.

The Out of Africa star has been selected as next year’s recipient of the coveted trophy by officials at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, in recognition of her lifetime achievements and contributions to show business.

Streep will be presented with the accolade at the January 8 ceremony, which will be hosted by comedian Jimmy Fallon at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA.

Previous winners include Woody Allen, Jodie Foster, Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, George Clooney, and 2016 honoree Denzel Washington.

Streep could find herself taking home more than just the Cecil B. DeMille Award at next year’s prize giving, as she is also in the running to land a nomination for her role as a socialite-turned-opera singer in the movie Florence Foster Jenkins.
