U.S. reality TV star Kim Zolciak has been discharged from hospital after suffering a stroke.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star had a transient ischemic attack following her flight home to Georgia on Wednesday, and she took to Instagram on Friday to write, “Home with my family.”

She also updated fans about her stay in hospital, writing, “Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up! Don’t let the oxygen scare you it’s just protocol.”

Editors at TMZ report that doctors had discovered an underlying heart issue that would have gone undetected if not for Kim’s stroke. The reality star temporarily lost her speech and the left side of her body was completely numb. She thanked her husband and eldest daughter for their quick reactions to her health scare.

It is not known if she will continue as a contestant in the current series of U.S. show Dancing With The Stars, which airs on Monday. Her dance partner Tony Dovolani showed his support for Zolciak, and told America’s People magazine that he hopes she makes a “speedy recovery”.

“After spending only a few weeks with Kim, it is evident of how much of a fighter she is,” Tony said in a statement. “Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and it’s amazing to see the love and support of her family. We are hoping for a speedy recovery.”

Kim posted a photo of Tony showing his support at the hospital, writing, This guy @tonydovolani has been by my side for 2 days! He even brings me my favorite coffee. Although he is dancing around the room lol he keeps me smiling! So blessed to be surrounded by such great people. Want to go home so bad! Hopefully tomorrow! #GoingStirCrazy #BlessingInDisguse”
