Actress Kaley Cuoco bristles at the suggestion she is not a supporter of women’s rights.

The Big Bang Theory star stirred controversy last year after telling Redbook magazine she does not identify with feminists demanding equal rights because she has never faced inequality.

She went on to admit she likes to cook and “serve” her now-estranged husband Ryan Sweeting, and after facing a backlash online, she issued an apology to women’s rights campaigners.

“I apologize if anyone was offended,” she wrote on Instagram at the time, before suggesting the remarks attributed to her were not accurately represented. “Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant.”

Now, Cuoco has cleared up any confusion about where she stands as a feminist.

“Of course I’m a fucking feminist,” she exclaimed to Cosmopolitan magazine. “Look at me. I bleed feminism. I get equal pay to my male costars on a big show, I have my own home, I’m as independent as you could possibly be.”

Indeed, the 30-year-old tied with Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara as Forbes magazine’s highest paid actresses on TV last year, each raking in $28.5 million from their hit shows and other endorsements.

Meanwhile, Cuoco, who is still in the midst of her divorce, has also opened up about how her September separation from tennis player Sweeting has affected her outlook on relationships for the future.

“(What happened) changes the way I look at marriage, and that makes me sad,” she admitted. “It does not change the way I look at love.”

The actress, who recently dismissed rumors she is dating country singer Sam Hunt, goes on to confess she “cannot wait to be in love again,” but added, “I don’t feel like I am ready yet… which is so different for me. I dive into everything.”

And she is sick of the constant speculation suggesting she has rekindled her former romance with TV co-star and onscreen love interest Johnny Galecki.

“Johnny and I are very close now,” she continued, “but the worst part about that is I don’t want stories like that, especially during the divorce, to hurt my ex. We have nods with each other. Johnny and I do this thing like a nod that says, ‘I got you. I get it.'”
