Actor Jamie Foxx played a real-life hero when he rescued a motorist from a fiery wreck on Monday.

An accident occurred outside Foxx’s Los Angeles home and the Django Unchained star sprung into action to help the driver get out of his vehicle before it burst into flames. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to ABC News.

“Jamie didn’t hesitate,” a representative for the actor told the news publication. “He jumped out and ran to the car.”

“Two witnesses that were near the collision scene ran to the burning, overturned truck in an attempt to free the driver,” a police spokesperson added.
