Gal Gadot Shares First Image From Upcoming ‘Wonder Woman’ Film

As the anticipation continues to build toward Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the actress playing Wonder Woman revealed the first official look at the superheroine on Saturday.

Gal Gadot, who will first grace the screen in next spring’s sequel to Man of Steel, has just begun filming on the set of Wonder Woman, and the actress took to her official Facebook page to share with fans the first official image from the set.

Almost 75 years in the making… #WonderWoman is underway.

Warner Bros., which owns DC Comics properties, sent out a press release that unveiled some of the names set to star alongside Gadot, including Chris Pine (Star Trek) and Robin Wright (House of Cards), among others.

Wonder Woman will be directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster, AMC’s The Killing) and is set to hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
