Comedian Dave Chappelle is bringing his stand-up comedy show to Chicago for a 12-show residency.

The funnyman announced on Wednesday he is setting up shop at Illinois venue Thalia Hall for six straight nights, starting on December 1. He plans to perform two shows a day until December 6.

The new gigs mark his longest run of shows since his 10-night residency at New York’s famed Radio City Music Hall in 2014.

Chappelle made a successful comeback in 2013 after abandoning his hit TV sketch show and taking a self-imposed eight-year exile from the comedy stage.
