Courteney Cox And Johnny McDaid End Engagement – Report
Actress Courteney Cox and rocker Johnny McDaid have called off their engagement and split, according to multiple reports.
The former F.R.I.E.N.D.S. star became engaged to the Snow Patrol guitarist in June 2014, after six months of dating, and they were planning to wed this year.
However, recent rumors suggested the couple had called it quits, and now sources confirmed to TMZ.com McDaid moved his belongings out of Cox’s homes in Los Angeles and Malibu, California just before America’s Thanksgiving holiday last week and returned to the U.K.
The couple’s differing lifestyles are to blame for the break-up.
“They’ve been having problems for a long time,” an insider told People.com.
Cox and McDaid were last photographed in public together in mid-August, days after they attended Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s secret wedding at their L.A. home on August 5. Later that month, Cox revealed she had booked pal Ed Sheeran, who introduced the pair, to perform at their nuptials, but it appears that gig is no longer on the schedule.
Representatives for the former couple have yet to respond to requests for a comment as WENN went to press.
Cox, 51, previously gushed about her fiancé’s “very sensitive soul”, telling People.com in April, “When I knew that this was just who he is, that he was just a beautiful, sensitive, loving person with a wonderful family, with a beautiful set of friends… then I was like, ‘This is for real.'”
The marriage would have been Cox’s second. She was previously wed to her Scream co-star David Arquette, the father of her 11-year-old daughter, Coco, from 1999 to 2013.
