Cher Blasts U.S. Politicians For Response To Terror Attacks
Veteran pop star Cher has taken aim at U.S. politicians for their response to the terrorist attacks in Paris, France on Friday.
More than 120 people were killed in the French capital in a series of gun and bomb attacks, which ISIS militants have claimed responsibility for.
In response to the horror, U.S. intelligence agencies agreed to provide information to French authorities to help them launch targetted air strikes on terrorist strongholds in northern Syria on Sunday, and on Monday, President Barack Obama announced the U.S. government would intensify its current strategy in defeating the extremist organization.
However, the “Believe” singer is convinced Obama’s approach to the problem is flawed, especially because ISIS militants have been known to use encrypted messaging services that cannot be traced.
In a series of posts on Twitter, she wrote, “USA wants Isis dead, but how do we distinguish Isis frm (from) victims they live among in 6 countries⁉️ Who’ll govern afterward⁉️… If we r (are) forced 2 fight Isis, I (pray) NO gop (Republican) candidate is POTUS (President of the United States). It would b (sic) like the dumb leading the arrogant, leading the insane…
“Isis terrorists using Play station (sic) & private messaging apps 2plan attacks.FBI/GOV CANT (sic) see encrypted messages & also they disappear‼️ Have great respect 4Potus, but think he maybe day late & short, re Isis Plan (sic). Congress is (a) bunch of gutless eunuchs who only b**ch & moan.”
