The house of your dreams is on the market, if you are a fan of Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula, that is.

For real, you can buy Count Dracula’s castle. All you need is $66 million and you’re all squared away!

The castle is Bran Castle in Transylvania, which was built in 1226 and was the inspiration for Dracula’s residence. It sits atop a fine hill and boasts 57 bedrooms. Originally built as a military fortress, the castle was later occupied by Prince Vlad Dracul (Vlad the Impaler) who is also said to have inspired the book’s title character.

Currently, the castle is one of Romania’s top tourist destinations, bringing in 560,000 people a year. The castle mainly functions as a museum, but its owners, decedents of the Romanian royal family, are getting old and hope to find younger people to sell it to in hopes they can keep it going as a popular travel site.

The fixer-upper is listed at $66 million, but the Financial Times reports that it could go for much lower than that – around $13 million. According to the Daily Mail, the castle actually went up for sale in 2014 and the family offered it to the Romanian government, but they turned it down.

Lawyer Mark Meyer who is handling the sale said, “If someone comes in with a reasonable offer, we will look at who they are, what they are proposing, and will seriously entertain the idea.”

You hear that? It could be yours! However, if you don’t have somewhere between $13 and $66 million, you can still travel to Romania for a tour, or take a virtual tour here.
